Our primary focus is the creation of beautiful, foundational homewares that will stand the test of time – both aesthetically and practically – stylishly elevating our customer’s homes without costing the earth. We believe in conscious consumption and want our products to be part of your home and your life for years to come.

Our bedding is expertly crafted by artisans with decades of experience in the textile manufacturing industry from premium quality, 100% hemp fibres. Hemp is our preferred textile given its exceptional and unsurpassed tensile strength and durability, which ensures a longer shelf life than any other natural fibre fabric.

Thankfully our chosen fabric also boasts an inherently pleasing texture, almost identical to that of the more popular flax linen. Flax linen has been trendsetters’ bedding textile of choice for as long as we can remember and with good reason – it is pleasing to the eye, low-maintenance and has a sensual texture. We believe that hemp, with its superior sustainability profile and lifespan, is a worthy opponent to flax.

Having settled on a beautiful, textural, long-lasting fabric, we turned our minds to aesthetics. We don’t follow trends. Calvi.Co has carefully selected its core colourways to ensure broad appeal and enduring style. Each piece is intended to become a transcendent staple that will work with your existing and future furnishings.

Unrivalled environmental-friendliness

Pure 100% hemp is our hallmark. Calvi.Co was borne from a desire to preserve and protect the planet for future generations. After discovering the environmental benefits of hemp production, our founder Kate was determined to shine a light on this wonderful crop and honed in on just one of its many applications – home textiles.

Industrial hemp is an incredible crop that is grown without reliance upon harmful chemicals or excessive water, improves soil and air quality, promotes biodiversity and can be spun into the longest-lasting natural fibre textile around. All Calvi.Co products are certified according to OEKO-Tex Standard 100, meaning strict international standards have been applied to ensure no harmful chemicals have been used during manufacturing.

Our commitment to the planet does not stop at our choice of textile though. Our environmental footprint is always front of mind for us and has led us to implement sustainable practices including using minimal packaging which is entirely plastic-free, recycled, recyclable and/or compostable and preferring carbon-neutral delivery partners.

Calvi.Co was created by our founder Kate amidst a series of government-imposed lockdowns in Melbourne and whilst she awaited the arrival of her second child. This business combines Kate’s passion for providing exceptional customer service with her lifelong love of design and interiors. She still wears all the hats at Calvi.Co – from email-answerer to shelf-stacker to package-packer – and loves every minute.
